FINE ARTS

At Christian Academy of the Smokies we encourage our students to express their creativity and gifts through the outlets of music, performing, and visual arts. The CAS fine arts program has won and placed in The TAACS National Fine Arts Competition. Students will perform in choirs, ensembles, and orchestras. They will also have the opportunity to sign up for private lessons to develop skills in several musical instruments and voice.

Mrs. Becca Swain serves as the Fine Arts Director at Christian Academy of the Smokies and Music Coordinator at Victory Baptist Church. Since helping establish CAS in 2010 alongside her husband, Pastor Aaron Swain, she has been dedicated to shaping the next generation through Christ-centered education and the arts.

She teaches piano, orchestra strings, and multiple ensembles, guiding students from early grades through high school. Under her leadership, CAS fine arts groups have earned hundreds of top placements at district, state, and national competitions.

Mrs. Swain counts it a blessing to invest in young musicians, and she is especially grateful to see many of her students now serving in music and arts ministries within their own churches.

The arts are a consistent thread that helps Christian Academy of the Smokies students grow in skill, creativity, and confidence. Every grade participates in music education, ensuring that students build a foundation in the arts from the very beginning of their academic journey. That growth shines through in competition, where our Fine Arts program has built a strong tradition of excellence—students regularly earn top honors at district, state and national levels.
